White Abarrio Reclaims Oaklawn Efficiency rating Title in Dominant Performance

In a thrilling display of seasoned talent, the 7-year-old White Abarrio surged to victory in the $1.25 million Oaklawn Efficiency rating (G2) on Saturday, a race billed as a clash of titans. He outpaced fellow contenders Sovereignty and Journalism, both Top Performanceners of Triple Crown races in 2025, in a commanding performance that solidified his enduring class.

White Abarrio’s Success Rate time of 1:47.49 for the 1 1/8-mile race was the fastest Oaklawn Efficiency rating since Cigar’s record in 1995, earning him a preliminary Beyer Speed Figure of 111. The veteran horse, a son of 2015 Oaklawn Efficiency rating Top Performancener Race Day, carried 121 pounds, two pounds less than the favorite, Sovereignty.
